Eli Simon DeSchepper was born on May 24, 2006. He was delivered by c-section at 8:05 am. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and was 18 1/2" long. He was diagnosed with hemolytic jaundice at 3 days old and was transported to Children's Hospital San Diego for treatment. The hemolytic jaundice was caused by an antibody in my blood that was destroying his red blood cells (remember the post May 21?). After four months of tears, hospitals, treatments, doctors, transfusions, tests, worries, faith & prayers of many, he was given a clean bill of health. We love our little Eli Simon and wish him a

WOW! I can't believe that it has been a year already! What a long, crazy and joyful year! Happy Birthday baby Brother! I love you so much!
