WOW! What a belly!! This past year has gone by so quickly and I have been thinking about everything that went on and feeling very blessed even though it was a very scary time. One year ago today, May 20, I went to the hospital for my pre-surgery bloodwork. The hospital called me back that afternoon and said they detected an antibody that needed further testing and they wanted me to have more blood drawn so they could send it to San Diego. So, I did and didn't hear anything else about it. Even on the 24th, when I went in for the c-section, noone knew anything about the bloodwork or the antibody. It would take 2 more days to find out that it was causing problems in our son. And this is the beginning of the birth of Eli. More to come.....
