Thomas turned 10 years old today! It was a great day that began with donuts for breakfast and a gift from his friend who is staying for a couple of days with us while his parents are out of town. If it isn't gift enough to have sleepovers on school nights, Josh also gave him a new Wii game. Thomas was looking forward to school for the ever popular birthday announcement over the loudspeaker.
After school it was home to find that a truck load of money had come in the mail, thanks to loving grandparents. Then it was time for gifts....cool shirts and a new bike! But let me tell you about the bike. Thomas thought all he was getting from Mom and Dad was the sappy "ten" speach Mom gave after he opened his gift from Aaron and Megan but hiding in the back of the car was a really "sick" new bike that Dad and Sam picked out. After letting Thomas ride for a little bit, we took the family to Pole Position for a little racing. They changed the track since we were there 2 weeks ago and it was pretty cool. Then it was off to Sizzler for dinner. For some reason Thomas really likes the place. I guess you can't beat the $5 salad bar for kidz. When we got home, we had birthday cookie and the boyz played Wii. There was a lot of chatter from the boyz while settling into bed. I think Thomas was pretty happy with his 10th birthday. It's pretty quiet now, I think they are all FINALLY asleep. I am heading to bed too, after a relaxing warm bubble bath. GOODNIGHT!

I want to get my hands on a truckload of cash just like that one. . .
Looks like you had a super "sick" birthday. You look like a natural in those race cars. Glad you had a wonderful day!!
