SuMmeR's EnD.....

Our summer vacation is officially over so here is the summer in review (in no particula order). We all went to the beach often to body surf, boogie board & play in the sand. 4th of July we had a blast with friends from sun up to sun down. We went to Arizona to help Joyce, Shaun and Brooklynn move and we traveled to Utah for Grandma Joyce's funeral (my Mom). Although it is very sad to lose my Mom, it was so nice to see family and friends. I miss her every day. So, for the kid stuff... JOYCE, SHAUN & BROOKLYNN moved to Arizona and are now in their own cute house and Shaun is working for Price Waterhouse Coopers. AARON spent the summer in Indiana selling security systems for Honeywell Security One. He has done really well and is on his way to Las Vegas to finish up his summer of selling before heading back to Utah for school. JAKE had surgery to fix a twisted vein and has a 3" abdominal scar, he got braces, went to EFY-Provo, had fun surfing, skating, playing slingshot paintball and jamming with his band to 80's tunes. He also took an online college course in Health and read "The Prince" and "Utopia" for his AP European History class he is taking this semester. SAM had his bike stolen, bought a new bike, rode that new bike alot, went fishing (as usual) turned 13 and threw his own rockin' b-day bash, went to scout camp and I think the highlight of his summer was flying in a glider. THOMAS & ADAM just hung out with friends and had a great time riding waves at the beach, going to the pool and riding bikes, waves and scooters. ISAAC took swim lessons and is really a pretty good swimmer. ELI got more new teeth and is walking all over the place. He loved swimming and playing in the sand. Next summer will be so great and easier with Eli. DAVID & KELLY... DAVID worked alot and was trying to reach an all time goal of 100 hours of overtime in one month. He surpassed that goal with a whopping 102 hours. City league softball started and he is looking forward to his Vegas tournament. I had fun with my summer reading and taking the kids to the library, beach and pool. Coming up we have Jake and Adam who need oral surgery for different things. Isaac will start preschool, Adam is playing fall soccer and I have a list of projects I'd like to tackle. I'm sure I am forgetting a ton of stuff but we had a nice, full summer spent with family and friends. We now look forward to a school year of success.
