This is the view from our upstairs window to Palomar Mountain which is on fire. This is the closest fire to us of all the fires in So. Cal. Hopefully it will be contained before it travels down our side. We are all safe at this time and don't anticipate any problems. David began vacation Saturday and was called in on Sunday night to help out with the Aguanga fire which is 100% contained at this time. He is currently napping in case he is called out this evening to help out somewhere else. Some vacation, huh? We weren't going anywhere anyway, just planning to do some yard work which isn't going to get done until the wind stops. Our thoughts and prayers are with those whom we know have been displaced, those who have lost their homes and those who are working so hard to save lives and property.

I am soooo glad that you guys are OK!! I was just asking Reed tonight if the fire was close to you guys in Temecula?!! He thought for sure it wasn't...but I will keep those also who are evacuated in my prayers and pray that the fire won't get closer to you!! We love ya
It has gotten so windy here! It is crazy. Hopefully the wind dies down soon before all of Cali is on fire! Love ya and stay safe!
