{Palomar Mountain}

This is Palomar mountain right now. The smoke is so thick over our house. The flames are still on the other side of the mountain but it seems like I can see more orange at the ridge than I could yesterday. The winds have really calmed down around here so maybe it won't spread too quickly. It still isn't anything like the Pechanga fire from about 5 years ago. We saw flames all over the mountain during that one. Anyway, I didn't send the kids to school today but Jake had left before I decided to keep them home. Who wants to breathe all that smoke? Thanks to our family and friends who are thinking of us. Let's all keep praying for things to get controlled.
